I’ve previously tweeted about the High Street chain photo lab in my local shopping centre which has recently taken up doing portrait shoots. My impression when I first saw the setup was that it looked very basic, and that the staff didn’t look like they had a great deal of photographic experience. At the time, I couldn’t see any of the output to see if I was right.

Samantha set the bar high with the example images that she sent me, but with a little bit of hard work, some creativity and quite a few metres of fabric, we were able to create some fantastic bump photographs for her and Bruno.

I don’t think the newborn photoshoot will be quite this calm or serene, but I’m looking forward to it nonetheless!

The grandparents’ wedding anniversary may have been the initial reason for this family photography shoot in Worsley, but I couldn’t leave without taking some pictures of these fantastic brothers messing about and having fun together!

Wow, it really has taken too long to get this blog posted – Christmas is a distant memory now (though the weather is still rather wintry!), but I thought the pictures should be seen even if they are a bit late!

I photographed the eager kids at a Christmas baby fair in Altrincham, organised by Kate at The Baby Massage Company… with just a few minutes with each child (and in some cases several at once!) it was a challenging day, but fantastic fun. Here are a few pictures from the day…
